  Effective October 1, a new reference standard and test method used to determine the potency of heparin will be used. This change will result in a 10% reduction in the potency of the heparin marketed in the United States. More
 
Potential dosing errors with Tamiflu oral suspension
  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a Public Health Alert to notify prescribers and pharmacists about potential dosing errors with Tamiflu (oseltamivir) for Oral Suspension. Healthcare providers in the United States usually write prescriptions for liquid medicines in milliliters (mL) or teaspoons, whereas Tamiflu is dosed in milligrams (mg). More
