The June edition of JONA offers a wide range of manuscripts about difficult-to-tackle projects and care initiatives, including medication reconciliation related to Stage 2 of the Meaningful Use incentive program. Also included is an article about one organization’s process of implementing change-of-shift bedside reporting. The authors discuss staff education and involvement, the use of unit champions, and the ongoing support necessary for hardwiring change. I always appreciate hearing from our dedicated readers. Please refer to “Guidelines for Authors” available online at www.jonajournal.com for initial guidance, in addition to individual suggestions and direction.
