Family of melanoma victim speaks out in new PSAs
Jaime Regen Rea spent her high school lunch hours tanning in a nearby salon in an effort to be tan and popular. Jaime, who also spent time in the sun, went from a self-proclaimed tanning bed addict to a melanoma patient in just a couple of years. Jaime was diagnosed with melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, at age 20 and died just three weeks shy of her 30th birthday.
