The American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Society of Surgical Oncology have released a new joint clinical practice guideline for sentinel lymph node biopsy for melanoma.

A recent study published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology states “Psoriatic patients found to be hepatitis B surface antigen or hepatitis B core antibody-positive should be referred to an appropriate specialist for evaluation and therapy” to allow for the safe use of tumor necrosis factor-alpha inhibitors.
