APWCA call for abstracts
Applications for the submission of poster and oral abstracts for presentation at APWCA2011 (March 31- April 3, 2011) are being accepted until February 26, 2011. Guidelines for presentation have been revised for this year and all abstract applications must be submitted using the online form.

Advanced Wound Bioengineered Alternative Tissue or AWBAT Plus is a new temporary skin substitute that is currently indicated for partial-thickness burns, meshed autografts, and donor sites.
Wound management gel available over-the counter
Prontosan Wound Management Gel with PHMB (Polyhexanide), a product used in the healthcare setting for cleaning wounds, as well as moistening and lubricating absorbent wound dressings, is now available for over-the-counter use.
