NPUAP Announces Cartilage Position Statement

NPUAP has a new position statement titled Pressure Ulcers with Exposed Cartilage are Stage IV Pressure Ulcers. In this position statement, staging for ulcers absent of soft tissue, such as skin over cartilage, is examined.


New Applicator Design Launched for Ultrasound

The new MIST 360 Applicator design provides increased flexibility to access even the most difficult to reach wounds, while allowing larger wounds to be treated more easily, according to the manufacturer. MIST Therapy is low-frequency ultrasound delivered without contact through a saline mist.
