At the Winchester Medical Center, our exceptional Surgical Services are continuing to expand, with additional ORs opening during the coming months.  We have tripled the size of our first-class Emergency Department, and a fifth cath lab in the rapidly evolving field of interventional cardiology, is now fully operational. We are proud to be among the Top 100 Hospitals in the nation for our Cardiovascular Services as well as the recipient of the national Premier Award for Quality in our outstanding care of Acute MI patients. In addition, we were recently awarded the overall Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from HealthGrades, a national quality ratings firm, placing us as one of the top 5% hospitals in the country. At the Warren Memorial Hospital, we embrace the Planetree concept and fully integrate this philosophy into every level of our patient care. We are proud of our recently constructed and highly innovative long-term care facility, the Lynn Care Center. Throughout the southern region of our area, the Shenandoah Memorial Hospital provides comprehensive programs and services, both in critical access care and in the personalized promotion of community wellness.

Continuing Education
In all clinical areas of Valley Health, you will find an extensive in-hospital orientation and an individualized unit-based preceptorship. We have comprehensive mentoring programs for both the novice nurse entering the acute care setting and also for the experienced nurse seeking to advance into the critical care arena.

Salary and Benefits
Salaries are highly competitive for our region and commensurate with experience, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus available for select clinical areas. A variety of scheduling options can be found throughout our clinical areas; evening, night, weekend and holiday differentials are in place.
