Abstract

Abstract: Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) is increasing in the outpatient setting, and older adults are at a higher risk for contracting CDI and experiencing poor outcomes. NPs may see this infection in the primary care setting. This article focuses on the presentation, treatment, and clinical practice implications for CDI in community-dwelling older adults.
