This month we kick off 2002 with another splendid new column that focuses on the business aspects of nutrition and vice versa. Jim's industry experience-as the former vice president of Ocean Spray Inc, as a scientist at DuPont, and as principal of his own consulting firm-will serve us well. Over the next year, he'll give us a "minicourse" in strategic business thinking on nutrition for the long haul. We think many of these ideas fit well in the public and voluntary sectors as well. Take a look at his fledgling column, and stay tuned.
