This presentation will discuss the anatomy and physiology of the gastrointestinal tract. Major disease processes will be discussed. Case studies will be used to illustrate the disease processes. An overview of hemodynamics of gastrointestinal bleeding and electrocautery will be presented.

The diversity of these topics certainly reflects the richness and breadth of our specialty.
