One of the most valuable uses of a nurse manager's time is not listening to lectures regarding formal conceptual theories, but networking with peers. This session will provide attendees the opportunity to ask colleagues the following type of questions: How do you make that work? How do your physicians do that? How do you deal with staffs that do this? What was JCAHO interested in during your survey? What kind of staffing do you use? How do you recruit and retain staff for your unit? How do you handle on-call issues? Is it really mandated that we do that? Key questions will be posed to facilitate responses in a round table format.
