Wow. Really Interesting article on nurses and their services. We provide Nurse call center services that work for the welfare of the patients relieving them from their pain.

Delegating "routine tasks" to lesser qualified staff is problematic and can effect the quality of care received . Nurses traditionally have delegated such tasks as: feeding, hygiene, incontinence care, wound care and vital signs to "less skilled staff"... these are some of the most important activities a skilled, highly educated nurse can perform to ensure good care! I have often heard nurses refer to these types of activities as "scut work"....wow...really?....those are the kind of nurses I certainly would not want taking care of me or any loved ones...

There is way too much time spent on computers and so many repetitive questions at every point of care . Go into any hospital and what you find is nurses at the computer and rarely at the bedside. Most of the supportive staff is actually takes care of the patients yet the nurse is ultimately responsible.
