About NursingCenter
NursingCenter is the only Web portal nurses need to gain knowledge, develop professionally, and advance their careers. NursingCenter's vast collection of information from more than 50 top nursing journals, including AJN, Nursing2006, Nursing Management, The Nurse Practitioner, and Nursing Made Incredibly Easy, offers nurses online access to cover-to-cover journal content.

In addition, CEConnection, NursingCenter's online continuing education (CE) collection, gives nurses hundreds of CE articles and online testing with instant results and certificates.  A CE planner tool helps nurses keep their CE up-to-date. What’s more, NursingCenter is constantly improving, with an ever-growing selection of tools and features to help professional and student nurses everywhere succeed at every stage of their careers.

NursingCenter was created in 1986 as an electronic Bulletin Board Service to help spread clinical information to nurses in rural areas who would otherwise not have access to the latest journals and technology. NursingCenter is now owned and operated by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW). Relaunched in April 2002, NursingCenter combines all of the aspects of the original Web site with many features of Springhouse Corporation's award-winning Web site, SpringNet. Springhouse was purchased by LWW in June 2000, and the two sites merged to form the new NursingCenter.
