HeelSafe DVT Hose. This graduated compression hosiery features a window design that relieves pressure on the heel and Achilles tendon, while also allowing for easy visualization and palpation of the heel. It is indicated for patients who are at risk for venous pooling and thrombosis, have deep vein thrombosis, have a history of heel pressure ulcers, are restricted by limited mobility, and who need to sit or stand for long periods (eg, during long airline flights). The product is available in various sizes and compression ratings.
