Abstract
Magnet(R)-designated and aspiring hospitals use research and evidence-based practice initiatives to demonstrate new knowledge and innovation, a key component of the Magnet Recognition Program(R). Four creative approaches to supporting and conducting institutional nursing research and the implementation of evidence-based care are illustrated, along with examples of successful nurse staff-led projects.
