Abstract
Abstract: Endometriosis is a common problem characterized by abdominal pain, back pain, pain with intercourse, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, and infertility. The cause of endometriosis is not well understood, but advances in treatment have been made. Primary care clinicians are uniquely situated to improve patient outcomes by making informed treatment decisions.
