The Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy is continuing to progress. The number of submissions entered into the review process has increased from 48 in 2011, to 66 in 2012, and to 106 in 2013. During the same years, the percentage of papers accepted for publication has decreased from 58.2%, to 45.5%, to 28.3%. The Journal's prestige continues to improve as well. As can be seen in the summary given later, the Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy is ranking higher year after year in both the Scopus SCImago Geriatrics and Gerontology and Rehabilitation categories of journals. This improvement can be attributed in part to the former Editor-in-Chief, Dr Michelle Lusardi, and the Associate Editors of the Journal-Drs Marybeth Brown, Kevin Chui, Robert Wellmon, and Bernadette Williams York. We must also attribute our progress to the 74 reviewers listed hereafter who reviewed manuscripts in 2013.
