Abstract
According to this study:
* Traveler's diarrhea and the use of antimicrobials are independent risk factors for colonization by extended-spectrum betalactamase-producing Enterobacteriaceae.
* Travelers visiting high-risk regions shouldn't take antibiotics to prevent or treat mild or moderate traveler's diarrhea.
