Abstract

* Amiodarone, used to control serious ventricular arrhythmias and chronic atrial arrhythmias, can interact with either of two hepatitis C medications, causing serious and potentially lethal bradycardia.

 

* The relevant antivirals are Harvoni (ledipasvir and sofosbuvir) and Sovaldi (sofosbuvir, given with direct-acting antivirals).
