Abstract
According to this study:
* Reoperation rates are similar regardless of the pressure used to irrigate open wound fractures.
* Very low pressure is an acceptable option in open fracture wound irrigation.
* Normal saline alone is superior to a solution of castile soap with normal saline for routine irrigation of acute open fractures.
