Abstract

ABSTRACT: This article describes an innovative project involving the integration of bar-code medication administration technology competencies in the nursing curriculum through interprofessional collaboration among nursing, pharmacy, and computer science disciplines. A description of the bar-code medication administration technology project and lessons learned are presented.
