Abstract
This case study describes how assessing a patient's underlying health problems and using an advanced wound product to prepare the wound bed leads to optimal healing and cost-effective outcomes. Photos emphasize this patient's dramatic healing, and a comparison of care costs and PPS payments between traditional and optimal wound care therapies is presented.
