[black small square] I look forward to your journal because you try to show the value of nursing as a career, so it pains me to look at the January issue's cover depicting the old stereotype of a nurse. Instead, I'd like to see the nurse of today-the smart, aggressive, tough, involved, and knowledgeable nurse, not the naive-looking sweetie of yesteryear. She doesn't send the right message about how exciting and vibrant nursing really is. Let's update the image and present the modern woman, or man!!
