"Analgesia and Sedation Protocols" (Critical Care Extra, May 2004), by Jackie Donnelly and Donna Lynch-Smith, contained two errors. The first sentence begins "Sedatives control and prevent pain and anxiety . . ." and should read "Analgesia and sedatives prevent pain and anxiety . . ." Also, the last sentence of the second paragraph on page 72FF is incomplete because of a production error. It should read, "Titrating up instead of down helps to prevent oversedation."
