With the need for gastrointestinal services increasing each year, many sites are considering remodeling or designing new space to accommodate the growth. This session will show how one manager's experience with five building projects has made this creative process her passion. The presentation will follow the process of creating a user-friendly gastrointestinal space from start to finish. Helpful hints will be offered for preassessment needs, how to communicate your needs to design and construction teams, and finally, helping staff cope with the "move-in blues."
