As you read in this month's editorial, Carolyn Humphrey is stepping down as editor of Home Healthcare Nurse (HHN). It has been my pleasure and privilege to work with Carolyn for the past 10 years. During her tenure as editor, HHN became the number-one paid journal for nurses working in home care. The journal also won several ASHPE awards for editorial excellence. HHN's enduring contribution to the nursing canon of literature is attributable to Carolyn's leadership and vision. Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), and I personally, are grateful for her effort and dedication.

Recognizing Carolyn's exemplary service to the publication, LWW has designated Carolyn Humphrey as Editor-in-Chief Emeritus. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.
