Abstract

I was just promoted to nurse-manager of a unit where I've worked for 12 years. One of my goals is to reduce medication errors in the unit. As a staff nurse, I was aware that some co-workers would neglect to report seemingly minor errors. Their attitude was, “no harm done, why report it?” I want that to change How should I go about this “attitude adjustment” without alienating my friends and colleagues?
