I am responding to "The London Bombings" (Profiles, September 2005). I accompanied a group of nursing students and an instructor from Jacksonville University in Florida on a trip last March to observe the London health care system. When the transit system was bombed on July 7, I knew from what I'd seen of the health care system that the injured would be cared for with speed and efficiency. All of the people we met-ambulance and call-system workers, hospital nurses, blood bank nurses-seemed dedicated to their jobs and to the people of England. I commend them for a job well done.
