Abstract

WebQuests, Web-enabled teaching tools, have been used successfully in schools for a variety of disciplines and grade levels. Dietitians and nutrition professionals can create WebQuests to engage clients, students, and interns in online learning of nutrition-related skills, attitudes, beliefs, and knowledge. WebQuests are an interactive way to engage people and direct them to credible nutrition information. Dietitians who want to expand the techniques they use are encouraged to explore WebQuests as an effective and exciting way to teach clients, students, and interns about various nutrition concepts, as well as help them develop skills, including technology skills.
