Led once again by chairperson Margaret Fitzgerald, DNP, APRN, BC, NP,C, FAANP, CSP, President of Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc., North Andover, MA, and sponsored by The Nurse Practitioner journal, the conference offers several benefits to attendees.

Hands-on Approach

One of the most popular benefits of NCNP is the opportunity to participate in diverse, hands-on workshops offered daily throughout the conference. Topics include suturing, ophthalmology, casting and splinting, as well as several others. With over 1,000 attendees expected and the small size of these workshops, it is recommended to register early to ensure space is available.

Additionally, the NP Certification and Practice Preparation Course will be available to any attendee graduating soon, changing a practice focus, or getting ready for clinical rotation.

For those interested in sessions, there are numerous topics scheduled, including cardiovascular disease, pharmacology updates, pain management, infection prevention, and many more. Continuing education credits will be available for all sessions and some poster presentations.

Further Information

Recognizing the need for expanded tracks, NCNP now offers acute care topics in every time slot. The conference is open to all NPs, CNSs, PAs, and students who want to advance their knowledge and skills while earning CE and pharmacology credits.
