Abstract
This case study outlines the successes and challenges that can be met in the implementation of online training technology in school nutrition. Online training may be selected as an option to facilitate continued education. The training may be designed to capitalize on the use of the World Wide Web and support the educational mission and membership of the state School Nutrition Association. The acceptance of new technology, however, can be problematic. To ensure acceptance, all stages must be planned and monitored, including needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
