National Alliance of Wound Care

The National Alliance of Wound Care (NAWC), a multidisciplinary professional wound care membership association and certification organization offering the wound care certified (WCC) credential to nurses of all levels, therapists, and their assistants, has announced it will host a reception at the 23rd Annual Clinical Symposium on Advances in Skin and Wound Care at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. As part of its continued "Awareness Program," the NAWC invites all attendees of the symposium to a special Cocktail and Hors D'oeuvres Reception to be held 5:30 to 7:30 PM, Tuesday, October 28th at the Rio's renowned Palazzo Suites. Representatives from the NAWC will be on hand to talk about the WCC credential and both individual and corporate membership in the organization.

Attendees will need to present a special invitation to gain admission to the reception area, since the Palazzo Suites are reserved for celebrities and "very special guests" of the Harrah's properties. The NAWC will make this invitation available in the conference registration packets and also at Booth #623 in the Symposium's exhibit hall. Please stop by for more details. "We are very excited to have this opportunity to meet the attendees of the Clinical Symposium and to provide insight into the organization and the WCC credential," said Debbie Hecker, Executive Director, NAWC.

The NAWC is dedicated to unifying wound care providers from varied educational disciplines of the health care continuum in an effort to streamline the delivery of quality care to all patients through certification of its practitioners. For more information on member benefits, or how to become certified, please contact Ms. Hecker, Executive Director.
