Abstract
Designing and building a new healthcare facility provide insights into design features and project management processes that should be replicated or avoided. This bimonthly department expands nurse leaders' knowledge and competencies in health facility design and enables them to lead in design efforts. In this article, nurse leaders share the insights and experiences gained from leading design and construction projects and provide helpful advice.
