The American Journal of Nursing is one of 233 science, biomedical, and nursing journals participating in the Council of Science Editors (CSE) Global Theme Issue on Poverty and Human Development. Designed to raise awareness about the impact of poverty on the health and human potential of people worldwide, the participating journals have focused their October or November issues on this theme.
