CALL FOR PAPERS AND SUBMISSIONS Journal of the Dermatology Nurses' Association The Dermatology Nurses' Association (DNA) has just announced that it will start publishing its new official journal, the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses' Association, with a first issue in February 2009. The journal will be wholly owned by DNA, and published by the internationally renowned nursing publisher, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. The Journal of the Dermatology Nurses' Association will publish (in print and online, in full color throughout), 6 issues each year, with 56 pages of editorial content in each issue. The Journal of the Dermatology Nurses' Association will be the leading peer-reviewed journal of dermatology nursing, publishing original research and clinical articles, review articles, and educational features, along with professional information for all members of the Association. The DNA invites authors, teachers, and professionals who are active in the dermatology nursing field to submit a paper to the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses' Association. A variety of papers will be considered, including TOPICAL REVIEWS, ORIGINAL CLINICAL RESEARCH, CASE STUDIES, “HOW I TREAT” ARTICLES, AND EDUCATIONAL FEATURES. FULL COLOR IMAGES WITH COMMENTARY WILL BE A STANDARD FEATURE, AND MAY ALSO BE CONSIDERED FOR PUBLICATION ON THE JOURNAL'S FRONT COVER. The Publisher will provide a robust web-based manuscript submission and peer review administration system and will offer web-based training and a staff Help Desk to help authors learn how to submit their papers. All submitted articles and features, including images, will be carefully peer reviewed and a quick response on the Editor's decision will be forthcoming. As soon as the editorial team is finalized, we will get back to you with specific information about your interest in publishing your work in this exciting new venue, which will be distributed very widely throughout the dermatology nursing and dermatology practice community.
