ABSTRACT: This is a case study of unilateral laterothoracic exanthem (ULE) occurring in an adult; ULE is a relatively rare entity thought to most often occur in children. Very few case studies of ULE in adults have been published to date. This case study provides an overview of ULE, including clinical features, epidemiology, guidelines for making the diagnosis, and management principles.
