    In the last issue of Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing (JCN) , we introduced you to the new Council on Cardiovascular Nursing (CCVN) Department by describing the American Heart Association (AHA), its Council on Cardiovascular Nursing, and the benefits of becoming a member of CCVN. In the coming issues, we will strive to publish content in this department that will be helpful to cardiovascular clinicians and researchers alike. In this issue, we begin a number of new sections including “How-to” sessions and Featured items such as Committees and Awards. We will also have regular tables with important links and quick resources for upcoming events and award submissions. We envision this department as a dynamic resource about AHA and CCVN for readers of JCN and welcome input and feedback.
