My patient needs regular ambulation but refuses to walk. Her primary care provider has tried to convince her, to no avail. Now he's pressuring me to get her moving. It's my understanding that I can't legally force her to walk, but he says I'm contributing to the failure of her recovery. What can I do to avoid legal trouble?
