ABSTRACT
 

While checking a patient's medication administration record yesterday, I discovered that she hadn't received antibiotics despite being admitted 2 days earlier with a bacterial infection. When I alerted her primary care provider, he insisted that he'd ordered antibiotics and told me to look at her chart again.
