Excedrin Migraine (Novartis)_____ 4. Seasonique (Duramed)An oral contraceptive indicated to prevent pregnancy, this drug must be taken once daily at the same time each day. If a dose is missed, patients must follow a set of directions to make up the forgotten dose. Teach patients that this drug doesn't protect against HIV infection and other sexually transmitted infections.This drug is approved to treat dyslipidemia. Taking aspirin 30 minutes before taking this drug may prevent flushing, a common adverse reaction. Advise patients to take this drug with food but not with grapefruit juice.This nonprescription medication combines three agents to treat mild-to-moderate pain associated with migraines. The usual dosage is two tablets every 6 hours. Warn patients not to exceed eight doses in 24 hours to prevent a dangerous overdose
