I agree that improving world health should start at home. Clinical Research is now indicating that genetics plays a huge part on our health status. But we should do our part and take responsibility for our own health. By providing our children with good nutrition, proper exercise, as well as setting a good example can greatly impact and improve the health status of future generations.
Poor nutrition, smoking, alcohol and drug consumption takes it toll on the human body and causes an array of health problems that negatively impacts our healthcare industry.
Nurses can play a huge part in improving world health by seizing the many opportunities they have to teach.
