Abstract
PURPOSE: To present information on effective alternatives to wet-to-dry dressings in the management of wounds.
TARGET AUDIENCE: This CME/CE activity is intended for physicians and nurses with an interest in alternatives to wet-to-dry dressings in the management of wounds.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Identify factors that affect wound healing.
2. Discuss advantages and disadvantages of various types of wound care products.
3. Describe strategies to promote cost-effective wound healing.
