Abstract
Abstract: "Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders" is a nondiagnostic umbrella term encompassing the wide variations in clinical presentation among individuals that are prenatally exposed to alcohol. This article discusses brain development and central nervous system abnormalities and reviews prevention and interventions for these neurologic manifestations.
