The FDA is notifying the public that the risk of developing progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), a rare but serious brain infection, increases with the number of Tysabri (natalizumab) infusions received.

The following drug shortages have been reported by the FDA:

  • Thiotepa 15 mg injection
  • Vecuronium injection
  • Pentothal (thiopental) injection
  • Mitomycin injection
  • Indocin I.V. (indomethacin)
