Oklahoma CE Requirements for License Renewal
As a nurse in the state of Oklahoma, you are required to earn continuing education to renew your active license.
Renewal Requirements
RN
- Every two years
- 24 hours of continuing education
LPN
- Every two years
- 24 hours of continuing education
Advanced Practice
- Every two years (in addition to 24 hours continuing education required to renew RN license)
- 15 hours of continuing education in pharmacotherapeutics, clinical application, and use of pharmacological agents in the prevention of illness, and in the restoration and maintenance of health, for those with prescriptive authority
- 2 hours of education in pain management or 2 hours of education in opioid use or addiction, unless the APRN does not currently hold a valid federal DEA registration number
- CRNA:
- Minimum of 8 hours of continuing education in advanced pharmacology related to the administration of anesthesia
