Wyoming CE Requirements for License Renewal

Wyoming.jpegAs a nurse in the state of Wyoming, you are required to earn continuing education to renew your active license.

Renewal Requirements

RN
  • Every two years
    • 30 hours of continuing education, or 15 hours of continuing education and 200 hours of employment, or 400 hours of employment
LPN
  • Every two years
    • 30 hours of continuing education, or 15 hours of continuing education and 200 hours of employment, or 400 hours of employment
Advanced Practice
  • Every two years
    • 60 hours of continuing education related to  APRN recognized role and population focus area (if recognized as an APRN in the State prior to January 1, 1999, and has maintained continuous licensure, but is not nationally certified)
    • 15 hours in in pharmacology and clinical anagement of drug therapy for APRN with prescriptive authority
