Call for Poster and Oral Abstracts
Currently, we're soliciting poster presentations for our annual Clinical Symposium on Advances in Skin & Wound Care, being held September 9-12, 2011, at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland, just minutes away from Washington, District of Columbia. The symposium is an educational meeting and exposition for a multidisciplinary team of wound care clinicians across the continuum of care. Poster submissions should contain subject matter of interest to wound care clinicians, including nurses, physicians, podiatrists, physical therapists, dietitians, or research scientists involved in preventing wounds and/or caring for patients with wounds. Topics can include, but are not limited to, clinical research, case studies, treatment modalities, wound classification, laboratory research, treatment protocols, education, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and team building.
Poster submission, review/selection, and presenter notification will again be integrated with Lippincott's econferencecenter.com, and streamline the process for presenters to submit their abstracts. To submit a poster, please visit the conference website at http://www.symposiumonwoundcare.com and click "submit a poster abstract." Deadline for submissions is June 30, 2011.
In addition to poster displays, a poster networking session will be held. Vendor exhibits, keynote speakers, special presentations, an awards ceremony, and more will give conference-goers a full and interesting schedule.
