Abstract

ABSTRACT: Erythema dyschromicum perstans is a rare skin disorder most commonly found in Mexicans, Latin Americans, and Asians. It has no known cause, and effective treatments to improve the distinct appearance have been largely unsuccessful. There are no systemic effects, but the skin lesions can be dramatic and can cause cosmetic concerns. Treatment options are limited.
