Abstract: For every minute without cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation, the odds of surviving cardiac arrest decrease by 7% to 10%. Churches can implement a public access to defibrillation (PAD) program and help save lives. This article outlines steps and resources for setting up a PAD program.
