Abstract
Preparing the leaders of any profession is a challenge, and even more so for nursing based on the diversity of settings, the complexity of health care, and the lack of advanced education for many of the leadership roles in nursing. As education costs continue to rise and many eager college students are unable to be accepted into schools of nursing, the number of prospects for leadership is growing slowly.
